The Arch Bishop of the Orthodox Church Metropolitan Yonah Lwanga is dismayed by the ongoing murders in the Country adding that it’s a clear sign that the lord God is not between us.
Metropolitan Yonah Lwanga expressed his disappointment while addressing a Press Conference at the Orthodox Church Namungoona in Kampala which marked their Easter Celebration this weekend.
Today among the Orthodox is Good Friday and they will celebrate Easter on Sunday.
Metropolitan Yonah condemns the killings and expressed that Ugandans faith and believe in God is gradually deteriorating and urged both the public and leaders to elevate the level of our faith and submit to the creator for peace.
When asked whether he needs security citing the Bishop Kityo Luwalira’s attacks, he says that he doesn’t need protection because the Orthodox Church does not have such quality of people who get to such an extent.
A message to those who have invested in misrepresenting leaders and giving false information against others to repent or they resign from their jobs because they can’t serve humanity.
