The jailed former SC Villa manager Chris Mubiru has appealed against a 10 year jail term handed to him on 18th September after he was found guilty for sodomizing a youg boy .
Mubiru has filled a notice of appeal before High Court in Kampala indicating that he is dissatisified with both conviction and sentence .
Mubiru was convicted and sentenced by Buganda Road Court Chief Magistrate Flavia Nabakooza who also ordered him to compensate the victim with 50m shillings .
Mubiru’s conviction was based on evidence from five prosecution witnesses which was corroborated with that of the investigating officer who found sodomy kits in his house .
The victim who is now 23 was 17 years at the time of commission of the offence .
