An average Ugandan is expected to earn atleast $9,500, approximately 30 million shillings annually in the next 20 years, according to the new National Development Plan.
State Minister of Finance in charge of Planning David Bahati told the Parliamentary Committee on Finance that the plan that takes off this financial year will run till the 2019/2020 financial year.
The new development plan will focus on key sectors of agriculture, tourism, minerals, oil and gas.
The Shs154 trillion plan will also put in place mechanisms to check corruption among government officials.
