Fake claimants to
Kampala-Entebbe
expressway
compensation to refund
money
People who fraudulently claimed
compensation for displacement by the
Kampala-Entebbe Expressway project
will have to refund taxpayers money.
The revelation was made by David
Kyadondo, the Project manager of the
Entebbe Express Highway project
who appeared before the Commission
of Inquiry into the Uganda National
Roads Authority.
Over 36 billion shillings was paid out
to affected people, some of who
owned land in swamps and forest
reserves.
