The woman who was until recently presidential adviser on poverty alleviation in Busoga Maureen Kyalya Waluube,has become the first woman to pick forms at the Electoral Commission to contest for president in next year’s elections.
Kyalya resigned her State House job months ago after accusing some officials there of frustrating her work and alleged failed promise by president Museveni to give her the required resources to fight poverty in Busoga.
