The Anti corruption court has ordered Luzira prison authorities to produce former principal accountant Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) Geoffrey Kazinda to answer fresh charges of Abuse of office and illicit enrichment.
Chief magistrate Alum Agnes made the order on the request of inspectorate officer Diana Nantabaazi who informed court that Kazinda needed to be made aware of the freshes charges by way of production warrant.
Kazinda is wanted in court on 15th February next week.
Kazinda was found in possession of property worth sh3.1b and vehicles worth sh769m which was not commensurate to his known sources of income.
He is currently serving a five years sentence in Luzira Prison, after he was in June 2013 found guilty on 29 counts of fraud, abuse of office, forgery and unlawful possession of government stores.
