Anti – measles campaign starts.

Ministry of health is today launching a nationwide  mass measles immunization campaign  in Kyegegwa district. The exercise will roll out on Saturday and end on Monday . Prime minister intervenes in the pension payment delay.

Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda has directed  the dispatch of a team of officials from Ministry  of Public service to help expedite the process  of payment of pension arrears for thousands  of Ugandans. Over 8,600 pensioners have  not received their monthly pensions for three  months now.
