Sorowen: Officers who miss fitness drills face expulsions

The Director of Special Duties in the police force, Andrew Sorowen, has directed regional and district police commanders to arrest all officers who dodge the forces mandatory physical fitness sessions. Sorowen was speaking in the eastern district of Iganga at a launch of the physical drills.

Health ministry shuts down illegal clinics in Gulu

Seven people have been arrested for allegedly operating illegal clinics in Gulu district. The arrest follows a joint operation by the district drugs’ inspectors and officials from the Allied Health Professional Services under the Ministry of Health. Most of the clinics were operating without licenses and were employing unqualified health workers.
