Parliament fails to vote
on constitutional
amendments bill.
The passing of the Constitutional
Amendment Bill 2015 hit a snag when Parliament failed to raise the
quorum to vote on it.
According to Parliament’s Rules of
Procedure of Parliament, two thirds
of the 374 MPs eligible to vote, that
is 250, are required to be present, for
any constitutional amendments.
