Parliament passes amendments to election laws.

Parliament has passed the

Presidential Elections Amendment

Bill, the Parliamentary Elections

(Amendment) Bill, and the Electoral

Commission bill into law.

This was during a special seating in

Parliament today that was chaired by

the Deputy speaker Jacob Oulanyah.

The MP’s passed an amendment

which will once effected require that

voting ends at 4 pm while the

presidential aspirants will not get any

funding from the Electoral Commission.
