Rev. Canon Paul Moses Samson Naimanhye elected Church of Uganda next Bishop of Busoga Diocese. 

The Rev. Canon Paul Moses Samson Naimanhye was elected by the House of Bishops of the Church of Uganda to be the next Bishop of Busoga Diocese. The election took place on 31st July 2015 during the House of Bishops meeting at Lweza Training and Conference Centre.

Bishop-elect Naimanhye will succeeds the Rt. Rev. Dr. Michael Kyomya, who will retire in January 2016.

Rev. Canon Paul Naimanhye was born on 24th December 1960 and he is married to Florence Lydia Naimanhye; they have three children.

 

Bishop-elect Paul holds a Bachelor of Divinity degree from Uganda Christian University, a Provincial certificate in Theology, and a Diploma in Business Administration. He is currently serving at the Dean of Christ’s Cathedral, Bugembe, in Busoga Diocese.

 

The consecration and enthronement will take place on 24th January 2016 at Christ’s Cathedral, Bugembe.
