TDA speaks out on joint presidential candidate.

The opposition Coalition, The Democratic

Alliance has held a press conference to clear the

air surrounding its failed selection of a joint

presidential candidate.

Zac Niringiye, an eminent member of the

coalition says on Wednesday TDA had not arrived

at consensus on flag-bearer as two candidates

(namely; former prime minister, Amama Mbabazi

and FDC’s Kizza Besigye) had been endorsed.

He says the coalition was unable to get one

presidential candidate so there is no specific

candidate of the alliance.

The presidential aspirants who were vying for the

TDA presidential flag bearer position will now go

ahead with their nominations in their respective

parties.
