-Wafula on failed Amama-Besigye talks.
The opposition coalition, The Democratic Alliance (TDA) will move on to have two candidates nominated on 3rd and 4th November following failure to agree on a joint presidential candidate in the latest talks Kizza Besigye and Mbabazi.
The leader of opposition in parliament, Wafula Oguttu also spokesperson for the TDA, revealed.
Yesterday’s meeting-a follow up of similar meetings held earlier in Nairobi and UK, had to be adjourned.
In the meeting, FDC proposed that both candidates test the ground after nomination and then two sides meet again to review the situation . The Go Forward team said they would to go back and consult on the proposal.
Amama Mbabazi and Kizza Besigye are expected to hold a series of meetings today despite strong opposition within FDC as members oppose single candidature .
